What you will do:
Manage a caseload of Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs) and EHC Plans, ensuring all statutory timescales are efficiently met.
Coordinate and review Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring they are person-centred and outcome-focused.
Liaise effectively with schools, parents/carers, health, and social care professionals to gather necessary advice and ensure effective provision is in place.
Ensure full compliance with SEND legislation and statutory guidance, including the SEND Code of Practice for 0-25 years.
Person Specification:
Qualifications: Possess a Degree or equivalent qualification. A background in education, social care, or a related field is desirable.
Evidence of ongoing professional development to keep abreast of current practices and legislation.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks, specifically the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice for 0-25 years.
Enhanced DBS clearance is essential for the role.
