Maths Teacher (SEMH) – ChorleyFull-Time Monday - Friday 8:30 - 16:00 | M1–M6 Pay Scale | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

A specialist SEMH provision in Chorley is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Maths Teacher to join their team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a highly supportive, small-school environment where relationships and individual progress are at the heart of everything.

The Role:

• Deliver Maths across KS3 and KS4 to very small classes (typically 3 pupils)
• Reduced teaching timetable, allowing time for high-quality planning and PPA during the school day
• Provide additional support across other subject areas and wider school activities when required
• Build strong, consistent relationships with pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• Contribute to a calm, structured and engaging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS preferred)
• Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 level
• Confident working with pupils with SEMH needs or similar backgrounds
• Flexible, proactive and willing to support beyond their subject specialism
• Positive, resilient and able to build rapport quickly
• Outgoing personality with a strong sense of initiative
