Residential Support Worker – Children’s Home
Location: ShirebrookSalary: £24,863 plus £5,000 for sleep ins, total £29,863Contract: Full-time and Permanent
About the Role
Our client is a growing and supportive children’s social care provider seeking Residential Support Workers to join their home in Shirebrook. Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
- Good standard of written and spoken English
- Flexibility to work long days (10:00–22:00), sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota basis
- GCSEs (or equivalent)
- Experience working with children or in health & social care is preferred but not essential
- Full UK driving licence desirable (or currently working towards one)
Qualifications
- Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People’s Residential Care – desirable
- For unqualified candidates, full support will be provided to gain the qualification after 6 months of satisfactory employment
