Responsibilities:
ReportingintotheGeneralManager,youwilltakeownershipandoversee/controltheEngineeringMaintenanceDepartmentforthesite,overseeingandleadingateamof10.ThisincludesoneLeadEngineer,sixMaintenanceEngineers,oneApprenticeEngineer,andtwoTechnicalCleaners.
Effectivelymanagemaintenanceactivities(plannedandunplanned),continuousimprovement,improveequipmentreliabilityandensureminimalequipmentdowntime.
ManageaCMMSSystemanditscontinuedintegrationanddevelopmentintothesiteandteam,providingencouragementandbuy-infromtheEngineers.
Takeanactiveroleinthedaytodayandhandsonmaintenanceworkwhenrequired.
DriveandimplementcontinuousimprovementswithinthemaintenanceteamtomaximiseefficiencywithintheMaintenancedepartment.
Mapoutandcoordinateprojectsandplannedshut-downsthroughouttheyear.
Thecollation,analysisandreportingofengineering,OEE,costandprocessdata,insupportofkeytargetsandobjectives.
Assistintheongoingstrategicplanofthefactory.
Takeanactiveroleinincreasingstandardsofsafetyandqualityacrossthebusiness,throughhighlightinghazardsandmakingimprovementsinequipmentand/orprocedures.
PeoplemanagementactivitiesforateamofEngineersincludingrecruitment,holidays,absencemanagement,appraisalsetc.
Workcloselywiththeproductiondepartmenttohelpplantdeliverproductivitygoals.

Requirements:
QualifiedinEngineering,holdingqualificationsineitherdiscipline(electricalORmechanical),andideallygainedthroughacompletedApprenticeship.
Workedinasimilarenvironment;Production,Manufacturing,Industrial,Facilitiesetc.
ExperiencedinleadingMaintenanceEngineerswithinafastpacedenvironment.
Experiencedintacklingproblemsandmakingnecessarychangesandimprovements.
Musthaveexceptionalpeopleengagementandstrongmanagementskills,includingperformancemanagement,coaching,mentoring,supporting,praisingandrecognitionapproach.
Musthaveconfidentproblemsolvingskillsandexperience.
