Our client, one of Londons premier event caterers, is expanding its kitchen team due to continued growth. They deliver a wide range of events, from high-end private functions and corporate gatherings to multi-day shows and sporting events. We are looking for two talented Sous Chefs to join their dynamic team, supporting the Head Chef and working alongside the Executive Chef to maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety, and operational excellence.
The Roles
1. Production Sous Chef
Lead a seasonal team of freelance chefs and food handlers
Oversee all food production at the SW8 headquarters
Ensure timely packing and dispatch of food for events
Ideal for highly organised chefs experienced in managing large teams
2. Development / Tasting Sous Chef
Plan, prepare, and deliver client menu tastings
Assist with menu creation and product development
Perfect for a passionate foodie with strong culinary skills and a drive for innovation
Both roles involve senior chef responsibilities within a busy event catering environment, including running events at London-based partner venues and ensuring strict compliance with food safety and health & safety standards.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for individuals who:
Have previous experience in event catering or high-volume kitchen environments
Demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills
Are passionate about food, presentation, and delivering exceptional standards
