SEN Teacher - KS3 & KS4

SEN Provision - September 2026 Start

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a large, well-established SEN provision to recruit an experienced SEN Teacher to support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher who is committed to making a real difference to the lives of young people with special educational needs.

Role Details

• Position: SEN Teacher (KS3 & KS4)
• Location: Ystrad Mynach
• Start Date: September 2026
• Pay Rate: £172.98 per day
• Availability: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Setting: SEN provision

The Role

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, SEMH, and complex learning needs
• Support learners in achieving both academic and personal development outcomes
• Work collaboratively with SEN support staff, therapists, and senior leadership
• Create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
• Implement and review EHCP targets effectively

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience working as an SEN Teacher, ideally within KS3 and KS4
• Strong behaviour management skills and a nurturing approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
