Our client, a Greater Manchester Council, is seeking a Children's Advanced Practitioner to join their Family Safeguarding Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
- Lead and manage complex children’s safeguarding and child protection cases
- Provide expert risk assessment, analysis, and case direction
- Support and mentor Children’s Social Workers through reflective supervision
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary partners to address parental risks
- Chair and contribute to strategy meetings, core groups, and child protection conferences
- Quality-assure children’s assessments, plans, and statutory interventions
- Support effective pre-proceedings and court work for children
- Model strengths-based, child-centred, and trauma-informed practice
- Ensure practice complies with children’s legislation, guidance, and local procedures
Requirements of this role:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
