Monday - Friday 8:00-16:30Responsibilities:As an Estimator, you will…
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate cost estimates
- Prepare take-offs and pricing models for steelwork enquiries
- Support the preparation of technical and commercial tender submissions
- Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure accuracy of estimates
- Maintain tender documentation, including pricing and compliance records
- Assist with tender review meetings where required
- Support the handover of successful projects to delivery teams
Requirements:As an Estimator, you will need…
- Previous experience in estimating within steelwork fabrication or a similar sector
- You will need strong, proven experience in producing take-offs from technical drawings, as this forms a key part of the estimating process.
- Background in construction, structural engineering, or related industries
- Strong Microsoft Excel and general IT skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicator, able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
