These schools are looking for KS1 and Early Years teachers who can walk in, bring a sense of calm, and quickly become their teacher for the day. Someone who can set the tone, keep routines ticking along, and create a space where children feel safe enough to explore, play and learn.

You’ll be leading learning across EYFS and KS1, from those first phonics breakthroughs to early number confidence, all while nurturing social skills, independence and a genuine love of school. It’s about balancing structure with creativity, keeping things purposeful while still leaving room for imagination to do its thing.

This Role Is Perfect If You

• Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
• Have recent experience in EYFS or KS1 classrooms
• Love those lightbulb moments, whether it’s blending a first word or mastering counting to 20
• Can step in confidently and create a calm, positive learning environment
• Build relationships quickly and bring warmth into the room
• Want flexibility without losing that sense of purpose in teaching

What Do We Need to Get You Started?

• Passport
• Two proofs of address, driving licence, utility bill, council tax, P45 or P60
• CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained
• Two years of references, childcare or education where possible
• OSPC if you’ve lived overseas for 3 months or more in the last 5 years
