We've got a brilliant role for a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our client on a fantastic commercial property based in Liverpool Street! The successful candidate for this role will also be provided High Voltage training and given Authorised Person status (HVAP). This is a great role if you're looking to further expand your lead experience for a highly reputable company.
As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you oversee a small team of M&E engineers, carry out PPM and reactive maintenance, trouble shoot / diagnose faults, provide technical support, update site logbooks, oversee RAMs / Permits and ensure all compliance duties are carried out.
This role will follow a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (07:00 - 19:00)
Lead Electrical Engineer Duties:
- Oversee day-to-day engineering operations on site
- Lead and support a team of maintenance engineers
- Carry out PPMs and reactive maintenance
- Single & Three Phase Power
- UPS Systems
- Generators (on/off load tests)
- LV switching & shutdowns
- Emergency lighting & fire alarms
- AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, pumps, motors, belts & bearings
- Ensure safe isolation of plant and systems in line with procedures
- Manage subcontractors on site
- Ensure all works are completed to compliance and safety standards
- Produce reports, complete logbooks and RAMS
- Issue and manage permits to work
- Liaise with client representatives and stakeholders
- Use PDA systems to raise and close jobs
Requirements
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Strong electrical bias with good all-round building services knowledge
- Proven xwzovoh experience leading or supervising an engineering team
- Background in commercial building maintenance
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Career-driven and proactive approach
Salary and Package:
- £52,000 per annum
- 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (07:00 - 19:00)
- High Voltage Training + AP Status
