About you:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in an office-based accounting role
• Strong GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office packages

What you'll do:

• Process supplier payments accurately and ensure timely payments
• Reconcile supplier statements and input payments efficiently
• Maintain accurate financial records, control accounts, and lead schedules
• Conduct daily and monthly bank reconciliations
• Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and statutory financial reports
• Assist with payroll processing and VAT-related activities
• Respond to supplier and internal enquiries professionally
• Communicate effectively to foster relationships and ensure smooth financial operations
• Perform other finance-related tasks as required by the Management Accountant
