Systems Administrator – Belfast ( up to £40k ~ )


A growing and forward-thinking organisation is seeking a Systems Administrator to join its Belfast-based team. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a modern, cloud-first IT environment and play a key role in supporting business growth through reliable, secure, and scalable technology.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working across a broad technical landscape, from endpoint management and cloud infrastructure to security and user support.



The Role


You will be responsible for managing and supporting the organisation's IT environment, with a strong focus on Microsoft cloud technologies, endpoint management, and security.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing end-user devices including laptops, mobiles, and tablets
  • Administering and supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
  • Managing device configuration, compliance, and deployment through MDM solutions (Intune)
  • Supporting identity and access management (Entra ID / Azure AD)
  • Maintaining and improving security posture, including endpoint protection and policies
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues
  • Supporting internal systems such as collaboration and ticketing platforms
  • Managing backup, disaster recovery, and data protection processes
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation


What You'll Need

  • 3-5+ years' experience in a Systems Administrator or similar role
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure
  • Hands-on experience with Intune / endpoint management
  • Experience with Entra ID / Azure AD (users, policies, access control)
  • Exposure to security tools such as Microsoft Defender
  • Experience with MDM and endpoint security best practices
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across systems, devices, and networks


Nice to Have

  • Experience with tools such as Jira or Confluence
  • Exposure to backup and disaster recovery strategies
  • Knowledge of security frameworks or compliance standards
  • Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.)
