Contract: Temporary
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Hours of Operation: 08:45 – 16:30
Work Style: Fully office-based
Pay Rate: £23.81 per hour
About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive, organised and compassionate Team Leader to support the delivery of high-quality Day Services for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, and complex or challenging needs.
In this role, you will:
- Lead, supervise and support a team of Support Workers
- Develop creative, person-centred activities within both community and building-based settings
- Ensure services meet required standards, legislation and best practice
- Build strong relationships with families, carers, and external agencies
- Manage rotas, staff performance, training, supervisions and appraisals
- Oversee safeguarding, risk assessments, incident reporting and adherence to policies
- Maintain accurate records and support quality monitoring
- Work flexibly, including participation in an on-call rota
Requirements
- NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care
- Experience working with adults with challenging behaviours
- Previous experience supervising or leading staff
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, The Care Act, MCA and Health & Safety legislation
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
- Ability to work under xwzovoh pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Flexibility to work shifts, evenings, weekends and bank holidays if required
- Enhanced DBS (Adults Barred List)
