W&A is working with a globally recognised manufacturing organisation to appoint a Finance Assistant on a 12 – 15 month fixed-term contract. Based in Livingston, this role is predominantly office-based and offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of finance activities within a high-performing team. This is a varied and fast-paced role supporting the day-to-day operations of the finance function. Reporting to the Financial Accountant, you’ll play a key role across credit control, accounts payable, and general finance administration, contributing to the smooth running of the department. Allocating incoming funds and updating customer accounts Processing employee expenses in line with company policy Assisting with routine reporting and finance administration Supporting the year-end audit process Previous experience in a finance or accounts administration role Working knowledge of accounts payable and/or credit control Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SAP experience advantageous Team-oriented with a proactive and flexible approach Competitive salary (dependent on experience)~ Private healthcare (post-probation)~ Employer pension contribution of 9%~33 days annual leave (pro rata)~ Early finish on Fridays
