Sales Account Manager – Southeast Region | Packaging Automation
A leading international packaging automation business is seeking a Sales Account Manager to support continued growth across the Southeast region.
This role is suited to an experienced technical sales professional with a background in packaging machinery, industrial automation, or capital equipment sales who enjoys developing long-term customer relationships and delivering consultative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage customer relationships across the Southeast territory
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Manage the full sales process from enquiry through to project handover
- Deliver technical and commercial presentations to customers
- Work closely with engineering, service, and international support teams
- Attend customer sites, trade exhibitions, and industry events
- Maintain accurate CRM activity and sales reporting
- Provide market and competitor feedback to the wider business
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical sales or account management
- Background within packaging machinery, automation, or capital equipment
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Ability to understand customer applications and propose solutions
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and able to manage a regional territory independently
Territory: Southeast Region
Travel required throughout the territory
