About the Role
A new opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a well-established South West practice with a strong presence across Bath, Somerset and the surrounding region. The firm is known for providing straightforward, practical legal advice to individuals and businesses, with a long-standing reputation built on client relationships, technical expertise and approachable service.
This is a strong opportunity for a solicitor who wants to handle good-quality commercial property work within a supportive, people-focused environment. The role is not centred around business development as the main proposition, but instead offers the chance to build technical confidence, develop client relationships naturally and work as part of an established team.
The role will involve:
- Handling a varied caseload of commercial property matters.
- Advising on acquisitions and disposals of commercial premises.
- Dealing with commercial leases, renewals, assignments and landlord and tenant matters.
- Supporting clients with property aspects of wider business transactions.
- Working with local SMEs, owner-managed businesses, investors and landowners.
- Building strong client relationships through clear, practical and commercially aware advice.
- Working closely with experienced colleagues across the wider commercial and private client teams.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be a qualified Commercial Property Solicitor with experience managing your own files.
- Have strong technical knowledge across commercial property transactions.
- Be confident dealing directly with clients and managing matters from instruction to completion.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a pragmatic approach.
- Be comfortable working as part of a collaborative regional team.
- Want to develop your expertise within a respected South West practice.
