We are looking for a confident, reliable and customer focused Weighbridge Operator to join our client’s busy team at Chelson Meadow on a temporary 12‑week basis, with the potential for extension following review. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well‑established operational site where accuracy, teamwork and excellent service are at the heart of what we do.
About the RoleAs a key member of the site operations team, you will be responsible for the smooth and compliant running of the weighbridge. This is a central role that supports the safe and efficient movement of vehicles on and off site, ensuring all weights, transactions and customer interactions are handled professionally.The weighbridge is a fast‑paced environment, so you’ll need to be organised, focused and able to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Working hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–4:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am–3:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the weighbridge in line with site procedures, compliance requirements and safety standards
- Accurately record vehicle weights, process tickets and input data into the system
- Provide friendly, professional customer service to drivers, contractors and site visitors
- Ensure all documentation is completed correctly and stored in line with GDPR and audit requirements
- Communicate clearly with the wider site team to support smooth vehicle flow and operational efficiency
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment within the weighbridge office
- Report any issues, discrepancies or safety concerns promptly to the site supervisor
- Support general administrative tasks as required to assist the operations team

Previous experience in a weighbridge, waste‑management or transport environment is beneficial but not essential, full training will be provided.
