The Opportunity
We are seeking a high‑performing and commercially driven Head of Sales (Healthcare) to lead our healthcare facility acquisition strategy from the ground up.
This is a founding commercial leadership role where you will directly engage NHS procurement teams, private hospital groups, and senior healthcare decision‑makers, positioning a high‑impact AI solution that delivers measurable ROI from day one.
You will play a pivotal role in building the sales engine, closing enterprise‑level deals, and scaling revenue across the UK healthcare ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B sales strategy targeting NHS trusts, private hospitals, GP surgeries, diagnostic centres, and care homes.
- Build a strong and predictable sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, LinkedIn engagement, industry events, and strategic partnerships.
- Revenue Generation & Deal Closure
- Deliver consultative, value‑driven sales presentations demonstrating ZenroxIQ’s ROI and impact.
- Close deals ranging from £5,000 annual subscriptions to £100,000+ enterprise contracts.
- Manage and convert complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles within healthcare procurement environments.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C‑suite executives, procurement directors, and operational leaders.
- Navigate NHS and private sector procurement frameworks with confidence and professionalism.
- Position Zenrox as a trusted long‑term partner in healthcare procurement optimisation.
- Sales Operations & Process Development
- Establish scalable sales processes, CRM workflows, and performance tracking systems.
- Define and monitor key sales KPIs and revenue growth metrics.
- Provide structured market and customer insights to inform product and go‑to‑market strategy.
- Team Leadership & Growth
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high‑performing sales team as the organisation scales.
- Drive a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and customer focus.
- Support team development through coaching and structured sales enablement.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years’ B2B sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of UK healthcare systems, procurement frameworks, and buying processes.
- Demonstrated experience selling into NHS trusts, private hospitals, or healthcare organisations.
- Excellent consultative selling and value‑based solution positioning skills.
- Experience managing long, complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior executives.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership, resilience, and self‑drive.
- Established network within healthcare procurement, medtech, or related sectors.
Preferred / Advantageous Experience
- Experience selling medical equipment, healthcare technology, or clinical software solutions.
- Background in SaaS or subscription‑based enterprise sales.
- Familiarity with NHS Supply Chain, procurement frameworks, and tendering processes.
- Experience in healthcare operations, procurement, or supply chain roles.
- Previous experience building a sales function in a startup or early‑stage company.
- Understanding of AI/ML-based products and their commercial applications.
