Our Financial Services Business Risk (FS BRS) team helps organisations manage risk, improve operational processes and realise strategic objectives. This role focuses on supporting clients in their internal audit functions, delivering tailored, flexible solutions that align with industry best practice.

A look into the role

As a Financial Services Business Risk Director you will:

• Take ownership and lead on allocated assignments, exceeding client expectations and managing and developing staff.
• Manage a portfolio of existing client relationships and build strong partnerships with clients and colleagues.
• Agree budgets for review with Partners and/or clients.
• Monitor invoices and cash collection to prevent aged debtors.
• Lead client liaison meetings and attend audit committee meetings.

Knowing you’re right for us

Minimum criteria include a professional qualification (CIPFA, CISA, CISM, CISP or similar) with post‑qualification experience in the insurance or pensions market, and a proven ability to manage a large portfolio of internal audit engagements. A track record of business development and client engagement leadership is essential.

• Professional practice experience.
• Demonstrable experience leading and supporting business development or winning new work.
• Oversight of team members and direct report development.
