We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to define how we bring Sage’s innovative, AI‑powered HR and payroll solutions to market. You’ll play a critical role in the success and modernisation of Sage People, ensuring the platform continues to meet evolving customer expectations while leveraging AI to deliver smarter, more automated experiences for HR leaders.
Reporting to the Marketing Director, Sage People, you’ll be central to our go‑to‑market strategy, shaping product strategy, leading New Product Introduction, driving pricing, positioning and messaging, and owning the full product lifecycle. You’ll work closely with product management, sales, customer success, partnerships, enablement and integrated marketing teams to drive adoption, demand and revenue growth.

You’ll join a collaborative, forward‑thinking global Marketing team focused on Sage People HCM. The team works cross‑functionally across product, sales and marketing to bring customer‑led, data‑driven strategies to life. Innovation, inclusion and empowerment sit at the heart of how we work, with a shared focus on delivering meaningful outcomes for customers and the wider Sage community.
Office location
Hybrid Working, 3 days per week in our London or Winnersh office and 2 days from home.
Responsibilities
- Developing and refining product positioning, messaging and value propositions that reflect customer needs, regulations and business practices.
- Identifying new revenue opportunities through market expansion, strategic partnerships and innovative commercial approaches.
- Leading and setting pricing for Sage People, including developing pricing strategies for AI‑powered features and solutions.
- Owning product launches and go‑to‑market campaigns that deliver measurable impact.
- Creating compelling customer‑facing content, including web assets, reports, videos and presentations, alongside sales and partner enablement materials.
- Equipping sales teams with competitive intelligence, objection‑handling guidance and product insights.
- Building strong partnerships with sales, marketing, customer success and partner teams to drive pipeline and revenue growth.
- Gathering and analysing customer, market and competitor insights to inform strategy and influence the product roadmap.
- Acting as the voice of the customer to ensure strong product‑market fit and relevance.
- Owning analyst briefings and engagements with priority firms such as Fosway, Gartner, Forrester and IDC, aligning narratives, demos and proof points.
- Planning and delivering analyst briefing assets, including executive overviews, roadmap narratives, customer stories and demo scripts.
- Tracking and reporting on product marketing performance, with a focus on adoption, pipeline contribution and revenue impact.
Qualifications
- Experience in product marketing, solutions marketing or a related role, ideally within SaaS or HR software.
- A strong understanding of the HCM market and experience delivering effective go‑to‑market strategies.
- Excellent storytelling, communication and writing skills.
- Proficiency with generative AI tools and a solid understanding of AI and machine learning concepts.
- Proven success launching products and initiatives that drive measurable results.
- A collaborative mindset, comfortable working across global and regional teams.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn insights into clear, actionable plans.
- Experience working with industry analysts (for example, analyst briefings, TEI/ROI studies and submissions) is advantageous.
