Overview

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director or Project Director to provide technical P3M systems configuration capability for major programmes and large portfolios. The role involves setting up systems and helping to develop capability within the Digital function.

The Role

As part of the role, you will:

  • Lead the development and validation of systems requirements
  • Lead the development of technical documents for P3M systems, particularly Hexagon EcoSys (Octave Sequence)
  • Develop configuration plans and approaches
  • Lead and perform technical configuration of P3M systems
  • Support the development of project controls and related processes, plans and models including items such as control account plan
  • Influence business users to align ways of working to system features
  • Provide support and collaboration in multidisciplinary delivery environments
  • Contribute to high-quality communications, documentation, and presentations
  • Be a champion for leading practice systems configuration and implementation in major capital programmes and portfolios
  • Provide technical training and support user adoption
  • Provide technical input to business development and winning work

Qualifications

Skills and qualifications for this role include:

  • A strong understanding of how to implement digital solutions and systems that drive value for clients in capital projects and asset management
  • Proven track record of delivering on client engagements, driving delivery from the start of an engagement and partnering with client representatives to deliver tangible change
  • Understanding of how to equate specific solutions to client benefit, financially or otherwise
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to influence without authority
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, able to explain complex systems configuration considerations clearly

Qualifications required for this role include:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent through experience
  • Relevant qualifications desirable, including those provided by APM, RICS and BCS

Desirable skills

  • Understanding of infrastructure markets including aviation, rail, road, regulated utilities, ports and environment
  • Experience translating designs of data and architecture solutions into action
  • Experience collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams including software engineers, DevOps, infrastructure teams, and data scientists
