Salary

£40,000 – £44,000 (DOE) plus bonus and car allowance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the sales team and oversee day‑to‑day operations.
• Maximise sales and overall profitability of the branch.
• Maintain and grow existing business relationships while building a pipeline of new customers.
• Use market intelligence to analyse stock profiles and sales trends to anticipate future directions.
• Manage departmental managers beneath you, ensuring effective coordination across the branch.
• Demonstrate strong sales, negotiation and stock control expertise.

Qualifications

• Current Branch Manager in the merchant sector with a proven track record of growing and sustaining a profitable operation.
• Experienced in sales, negotiation and stock control within Builders Merchants or Construction Supply world.
• Strong leadership skills, able to motivate and inspire a team.
• Ambition for career development and ability to build and develop own team in future.
