We are currently recruiting for a Financial Business Partner on behalf of a leading FMCG organisation based in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing commercial finance team in a strategic, business-facing role.
As a Financial Business Partner, you will work closely with senior commercial stakeholders to drive performance, support decision-making, and deliver insightful financial analysis across multiple categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior commercial leaders to provide insight that supports strategic decision-making
- Lead commercial initiatives and profit improvement projects
- Support period-end processes, including revenue, cost, and trade investment reporting
- Deliver detailed analysis on sales, profitability, and promotional performance
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and integrated business planning cycles
- Present financial insights to senior stakeholders, including executive leadership
- Drive continuous improvement across systems, reporting, and processes
About You
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong commercial finance experience, ideally within FMCG
- Qualified or part-qualified (CIMA / ACCA preferred)
- Proven ability to influence and challenge stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and management accounting
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP/BI tools desirable
