Position Summary
- Responsible for all aspects of Finance Controllership function – monthly financial reporting, product costs update and analysis, overheads; external/internal audit and internal controls over fixed assets, inventory and production materials in Washington Plant UK,
- Act as a strategic partner to plant leadership by supporting development of ABP/forecast/cost roadmaps to meet product cost commitments and providing insightful analysis of actual performance vs plan to improve plant performance.
- Implement/support process improvements, standardization initiatives, M&A related activities (e.g. integration) and any global projects as defined by Global Operations Control (GOC) and Global Finance & Controllership teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting operations including cost accounting, financial closing and reporting, internal control and Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance, tax, fixed asset accounting, inventory management, and related activities.
- Manage month‑end closing and prepare monthly financial statements and other operational reports for site under US GAAP.
- Analyze variances and communicate explanations to management with recommended actions.
- Prepare forecasts and budgets on schedule with accuracy and punctuality to deliver high‑quality standards of data in line with all relevant reporting standards and accounting guidelines.
- Capex controlling.
- Implement new controlling tools and seek continuous improvement and use of best practices.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors (where required) to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
- All ad‑hoc management accounting and controlling exercises required by the business.
- Actively manage career development of direct reports, review performance, and provide coaching to enhance performance.

- Knowledge and use of business programs; SAP experience is essential
- Good communications skills
- Plant Accounting and/or FMCG experience
