Role Overview
This is a full‑time role based from our Glasgow office. As Private Client Investment Manager you will provide coverage for our Ascot Lloyd advisers, including new colleagues from Aberdeen Financial Planning, across Scotland and the North of England. You will manage bespoke investment portfolios for private clients, trusts and other entities, ensuring alignment with their financial objectives and risk tolerance.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing bespoke investment portfolios including tax‑efficient strategies for private clients, trusts, and other entities, and ensuring alignment with clients' financial objectives and risk tolerance.
- Working closely with our professional financial advisers, helping them understand and deploy our range of MPS & OEIC solutions.
- Building and maintaining strong adviser‑client relationships through effective communication and a thorough understanding of financial markets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience managing portfolios for private clients and knowledge of financial planning principles.
- Strong analytical skills and expertise in portfolio management.
- Professional qualifications such as CISI or CFA (minimum Level 6).
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and advisers.
- Strong understanding of investment markets and risk management.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting with flexibility to work from home.
- Proactive attitude with a focus on delivering high‑quality client service.
