Overview
The Associate Finance Director, Global Solutions, is a key supporting role within the globalproduction commercial finance team, working directly with executive leadership to drivefinancial excellence across global production delivery models. This position requires exceptionalcommunication skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to analyze and synthesize largevolumes of data for clients and executive presentations. The Associate Finance Director willcollaborate across all levels of the organization and geographies, contributing to strategicinitiatives, client onboarding, and ongoing client finance management.
Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Executive Support
- Provide comprehensive financial analysis and insights to support executive decision-makingand strategic planning for key global clients including preparation of global client P&Ls.
- Prepare and summarize complex financial data for executive-level presentations, ensuringclarity and actionable recommendations including modeling and scenario planning toevaluate alternative courses of action.
- Assist in the development, optimization and maintenance of financial frameworks for globaldelivery models. Including management of global revenue, staffing, billing, and costallocations in close collaboration with delivery hubs, regional leadership, and local markets.
Commercial Excellence & Client Onboarding
- Support seamless client onboarding by collaborating with cross-functional teams, clientcontacts, and global internal stakeholders.
- Assist in setting up new clients by coordinating global financial processes, support resolutionof outstanding issues with clients and internally, and ensuring process compliance post newbusiness wins. This includes proposals for revenue recognition, staffing, and billingprocesses, considering tax, FX, and working capital risks.
Governance, Compliance & Reporting
- Support legal and compliance efforts for client contracts acting as a partner to internal clientteams across regions.
- Support global client reporting coordination in alignment with contractual requirementsutilizing production technology along with internal financial systems.
Collaboration & Knowledge Transfer
- Build and nurture strong relationships with global teams, solution hubs, client procurementpartners, and key intermediaries to enable effective collaboration.
- Support knowledge sharing and alignment across regions, striving for continuousimprovement in commercial finance processes.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting required; Master's (MBA, MS Finance, or equivalent)preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis,with at least 2 years in a role supporting executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience working in a global organization or supporting cross-regional orglobal business initiatives.
- Proven track record of preparing and presenting financial analysis for executive-leveldecision-making.
- Advertising or PR industry experience preferred.
- Experience with client finance and commercial finance supporting complex client models.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data visualization tools.
- Ability to synthesize and summarize large volumes of complex data for executivepresentations.
