We are looking for Lead Engineers with expertise in cloud, automation, tooling, and coaching teams in DevOps practices. This full-stack, polyglot role involves working with AWS and other technologies, acting as a hands-on CTO, driving organizational change, and establishing strong engineering cultures within client organizations.

About the role

We develop custom software for the public sector, focusing on outcome-based delivery. Our teams leverage cloud automation, infrastructure as code with Terraform and OpenAPI, containerization, and serverless technologies like AWS Lambda. We emphasize a DevOps culture where engineers empower teams to build and run their applications, using languages such as Java, Ruby, Python, React, C# with .NET Core, and more.

Ideal candidates will have mentoring experience, contribute to knowledge sharing, and be eager to learn new technologies. We value automation, continuous integration, and deployment practices, along with architectural and design pattern knowledge.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in coding with tests in an agile environment
• Experience with multiple programming languages
• Database and API expertise
• Cloud platform experience, especially AWS
• Debugging skills across systems
• Self-motivated learning and outcome-driven mindset
• Mentoring and coaching enthusiasm

Nice to Haves

• Consultancy experience and customer interaction
• Experience with multidisciplinary teams and agile practices
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, TDD, architectural patterns, and infrastructure as code

Applicants should be eligible for SC security clearance, requiring 5 years UK residency and employment history.
