Responsibilities

• Design, communicate, and implement an operational plan for completing an engineering-based project.
• Prepare designs, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing and commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities, equipment and related components.
• Monitor progress and performance against the project plan; take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
• Identify, develop and gather resources necessary to complete the project, including engineering standards, designs, work specifications, project schedules, budgets, forecasts and selection of materials, equipment, project staff and external contractors.
• Manage large projects or processes with limited oversight from managers.
• Coach, review and delegate work to lower-level professionals.
