Legal & Business Research Adviser | London (EC2N) | up to £45k with hybrid working

We are delighted to be working with a leading international law firm in the search for a Legal & Business Research Adviser to join its highly regarded global research and knowledge function.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal information professional to play a key role in supporting lawyers and business services teams with high-quality legal, commercial and sector-specific research. Working as part of a collaborative and forward‑thinking team, you will deliver insight that directly supports client matters, business development and strategic decision‑making across the firm.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting complex legal, business and industry research across a broad range of sources.
• Delivering clear, commercially focused analysis and research summaries.
• Producing current awareness updates, tailored alerts and market intelligence.
• Supporting pitches, panel appointments and wider business development initiatives.
• Designing and delivering engaging training programmes, research guides and digital learning resources.
• Supporting the evaluation and adoption of emerging legal technology and AI research tools.
• Managing online resources, subscriptions and knowledge platforms.
• Acting as a trusted adviser to stakeholders across the business.

The successful candidate will have significant experience within a law firm, with strong expertise in legal and business research. You will possess excellent analytical skills, outstanding communication abilities and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional client service.

Experience of training delivery, current awareness, and legal research platforms is essential. Exposure to AI‑enabled research tools, library systems or knowledge management platforms would be highly advantageous.
