Ecommerce & CRO Manager (Maternity Cover)

As Ecommerce & CRO Manager, you play a pivotal role in our mission to change lives through skin confidence.
Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, this role takes ownership of conversion rate optimisation, website developments and trading performance. Supporting our DTC growth strategy across UK & Ireland. Through insight driven experimentation and continuous improvements, you’ll ensure we deliver world class customer journeys while authentically showcase our skin health educational expertise.
Job Requirements
Required
- Strong ecommerce and D2C trading experience. Minimum 5 years’ experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or online trading roles, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and customer acquisition. Demonstrated experience managing onsite trading, promotions, and merchandising to optimise performance.
- Hands‑on Shopify Plus expertise. Confident working within Shopify Plus, including building and optimising pages, using apps and tools, and applying performance data to continuously improve site experience.
- Commercial and data‑driven mindset. Strong experience analysing trading performance, sales forecasting, and evaluating the financial impact of campaigns and onsite activity.
- Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) experience. Proven ability to plan and run A/B testing and experimentation programmes, with a focus on continuous improvement and measurable results.
- Technical confidence. Comfortable using basic HTML and CSS, and working collaboratively with developers to implement site changes and enhancements.
- Strong reporting and insight skills. Ability to interpret data and translate it into clear, actionable insights across both commercial performance and customer behaviour.
Desirable
- Experience working with GA4 or other analytics platforms
- Exposure to affiliate marketing programmes
- An interest in AI and automation tools to improve efficiency and scale ecommerce operations
Job Responsibilities
- Manage trading performance across UK & Ireland ecommerce, focusing on revenue and customer growth, optimised conversions, and merchandising.
- Own and deliver the CRO roadmap – from planning and execution through to reporting, sharing positive and negative learnings with our teams and other territories to embed a culture of continuous improvement.
- Lead testing and experimentation not just across the Ecommerce team, but also with the goal of influencing and facilitating other teams to get involved and drive a business‑wide test‑and‑learn mindset.
- Lead the Shopify+ development roadmap, managing the external full stack developer agency, prioritising updates, overseeing testing, and ensuring robust reporting on progress and impact.
- Support the Head of Ecommerce shaping and executing the DTC strategy, aligning trading, CRO, content, and customer experience priorities with wider business goals.
- Champion data‑led approaches to customer journeys, using insights and UX testing for educational conversion‑focused onsite experiences.
- Ensure site content, campaign executions, and promotional activities are delivered on time, brand value aligned, and commercially effective.
- Oversee reporting on Ecommerce KPIs, providing clear insight into trading, CRO performance, and website developments to inform decision‑making across the business.
- Partner cross‑functionally with brand, marketing, education, supply chain, customer service, and finance teams.
- Directly manage and develop the Ecommerce Assistant, providing clear direction, developmental coaching, and support to deliver against trading and CRO priorities.
- Drive innovation by staying ahead of emerging CRO and ecommerce trends, tools, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities that feed into the wider Ecommerce strategy.
