Lead Salesforce Developer / Solution Architect
We’re hiring a Lead Salesforce Developer / Solution Architect to take technical ownership of a major Salesforce transformation programme within a leading financial services environment.
This is a key role for someone who can operate as both a hands-on Salesforce technical lead and a solution architect, helping shape the future of an enterprise Salesforce Financial Services Cloud platform.
The organisation is re-platforming the end-to-end client lifecycle onto Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, and this person will play a central role in ensuring the platform is scalable, secure, compliant and built to best practice.
You’ll work closely with Product, Architecture, Salesforce developers and an external consultancy during the transformation phase, before helping transition the platform into full in-house ownership.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be responsible for the technical design, architecture and hands-on build leadership across Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, including:
- Owning the end-to-end technical architecture of the Salesforce FSC platform
- Leading hands-on development across Lightning Web Components, Flows, SOQL/SOSL and integrations
- Acting as the technical authority for Financial Services Cloud data modelling, including Person Accounts, households, relationship groups, rollups and compliant data sharing
- Designing and governing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware and modern API-led/event-driven patterns
- Setting coding standards, design patterns and technical governance for the wider team
- Establishing CI/CD, release and environment management standards, ideally using Copado
- Mentoring Salesforce Developers/Application Engineers through code reviews, design guidance and technical escalation
- Supporting the transition from consultancy-led delivery to long-term in-house platform ownership
What we’re looking for:
- Significant experience designing and delivering enterprise Salesforce solutions in complex or regulated environments
- Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud
- Proven experience designing Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing models, governor limits and performance optimisation
- Experience with Data360/Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud Engagement/Advanced
- Experience leading developers and acting as a technical design authority
- CI/CD and release management experience, ideally with Copado
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
Nice to have:
- Wealth management, asset management or broader financial services experience
- OmniStudio experience, including FlexCards, OmniScripts and Integration Procedures
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification
- Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional certification
