Job Title: Fire & Security Systems Engineer
Location: Covering Birmingham South Area
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum – depending on experience.

Jackson Fire & Security is rapidly expanding across the UK, servicing sectors such as education, social housing, property management and retail with a range of fire and security solutions.
About the Role
As a Fire & Security Engineer you will install and maintain a wide range of fire and security systems, work independently in the field, and deliver high‑quality service with excellent customer communication.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain fire extinguishers, fire alarm systems, access control and intruder alarm systems, CCTV and other security equipment.
- Service commercial fire detection and intruder alarm systems.
- Perform fault‑finding and troubleshooting on installed systems.
- Report daily to the manager and manage your own workload with minimal supervision.
- Represent the company professionally at all times, ensuring customer service and safety standards are upheld.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with fire and/or security systems, including installation, maintenance, and fault‑finding of fire alarm, access control, intruder alarm, CCTV, and fire extinguishers.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong communication skills for face‑to‑face and telephone interactions with customers.
- Can‑do attitude with high priority on customer service.
- Self‑motivated, capable of working independently and delivering work to the highest standards.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload effectively.
- Subject to security screening in accordance with BS7858.

Additional Information
Successful candidates will be subject to security screening under BS7858. Candidates with experience as Fire Alarm Systems Engineer, Security Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, IT Infrastructure Systems Engineer, Technical Systems Engineer, or similar titles may also be considered.
