The work

• Set technical direction across critical product surfaces
• Lead architecture for systems that need to scale 10x within 12 to 18 months
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, raise the bar across the team
• Partner directly with founders, CTOs, and product leadership

What you bring

• Strong track record at Staff or Principal level, ideally at multiple high-growth companies
• Deep technical breadth: backend, frontend, infra, or systems
• History of leading non-trivial architectural decisions and seeing them through
• Strong written communication and a bias to ownership over abstract leadership
