HOURS Full-time

WORKING PATTERN Our work style is hybrid, spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at an office site. Colleagues with disabilities may receive workplace adjustments including hybrid working expectations in line with our Flexibility Works policy.

About this opportunity

At Lloyds Banking Group, we embed analytics at the core of SEO and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) to drive organic growth across traditional search and AI-driven platforms. The public website is a critical engine for discovery and consideration of our brands and products. This role is central to strengthening how we measure, understand, and improve search visibility and website performance.

In this role, you will own the SEO and GEO measurement framework, delivering clear dashboards and insights that shape prioritisation, investment, and optimisation decisions. You will lead opportunity sizing and causal analysis to identify high impact search initiatives.

You will champion robust SEO/GEO taxonomies, tagging, and data quality standards, embedding insight‑led decision‑making across digital and content teams. Strong search analytics expertise, paired with the ability to influence and coach others, is essential.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the SEO and GEO measurement framework, monitoring performance across organic search engines and generative AI platforms.
  • Deliver actionable insights that uplift rankings, citations, organic traffic, engagement and conversions.
  • Build and maintain dashboards that surface SEO/GEO trends, opportunities and risks.
  • Conduct opportunity sizing, causal analysis and forecasting to identify high impact initiatives and inform prioritisation.
  • Embed a culture of insight‑driven decision‑making – coaching teams to use data to guide SEO/GEO strategy.

This is a high‑impact analytical role focused on enabling evidence‑based SEO and GEO strategy at scale. Success requires strong technical and analytical skills, practical SEO experience and the ability to influence, collaborate and communicate with multidisciplinary teams.

Experience Required

  • Two years of proven experience designing and evolving measurement frameworks and dashboards for SEO and website performance.
  • Strategic collaboration with stakeholders across the public website team and other partners to align insights with business objectives.
  • Ability to clearly communicate insights and recommendations to non‑technical and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience coaching or mentoring, fostering a culture of curiosity and evidence‑based decision making.
  • A forward‑looking mindset, comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment.

We recognise that skills develop in many ways; if you have relevant transferable experience, you are encouraged to apply.

We provide reasonable workplace adjustments for colleagues with disabilities, including flexibility in office attendance, location and working patterns. As a Disability Confident Leader we guarantee fair and proportionate interviews for those meeting the criteria.

Benefits

  • Generous pension contribution up to 15%
  • Annual performance‑related bonus
  • Share schemes including free shares
  • Benefits that adapt to lifestyle, such as discounted shopping
  • 30 days’ holiday, with bank holidays on top
  • Wellbeing initiatives and generous parental leave policies

We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from anyone who meets the minimum criteria.
