As an IT System Engineer Apprentice, your main responsibilities will include:
- Becoming a valued part of the Security Services team.
- Learning how to provide technical support.
- Assisting staff to deliver IT support services to clients.
- Managing the helpdesk system, ensuring all calls and tickets are handled within appropriate timescales.
- Resolving first-line support issues and escalating more complex problems to second/third line staff.
- Managing and operating ICT infrastructure – physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage.
- Using infrastructure management tools to automate provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of components.
- Prioritising support tasks and monitoring system performance.
- Maintaining regulatory, legal and professional standards.

Full-time position after apprenticeship.

Training Provided
Apprenticeship training programmes delivered virtually by a fully qualified and industry experienced training team. Learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team throughout the apprenticeship. On successful completion, the apprentice gains an accredited qualification.
