Hybrid working – 2 days in Central London office. Permanent / Full Time. £80-90K.
Join an established audio technology company as their Machine Learning Research Lead and help them to develop advanced communications technology used in challenging environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead audio ML research projects and provide strategic direction for research initiatives.
- Apply research to develop advanced communications technology used in challenging environments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate research outcomes into deployable solutions.
Qualifications
- MSc or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Maths, Engineering or similar, focused on audio
- Experience leading teams or projects in audio AI or audio machine learning
- Strong Python programming skills
- Expert in ML frameworks (PyTorch or other)
- Detailed knowledge of real time audio signal processing or real time machine learning
- Experience with speech enhancement or speech-to-text
- Background in signal processing or music tech
