Overview
We have the opportunity for a Senior Claims Adjuster – Casualty to join our Claims department at Tokio Marine Kiln. Reporting into the Assistant Claims Manager, you will assist in the delivery of the TMK Claims Business Plan through management of claims issues arising from a designated book of business and development of nominated client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Delivery, through personal ownership and via the team, of a first-class service to all customers.
- Management of a portfolio of complex, multi-jurisdictional claims. Experience dealing with North American and Latin American territories is beneficial.
- Account management where TMK delegates claims handling authority.
- Ownership of personal appraisal and objectives to include personal training and development to support delivery of the TMK Claims Business Plan.
- Ownership of nominated client relationships to ensure delivery of Claims services to support and develop business objectives.
- Liaison with Underwriting team(s) regarding claims and wording issues at an individual and market level and to support profitable development of accounts.
- Ensuring fair customer outcomes and commerciality when decision making in line with the TMK values.
- To have a clear understanding of the company's risk appetites in terms of delegated authority, conduct and financial crime.
- Championing the company values and working in accordance with the organisational behaviours.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have extensive experience of handling Casualty claims in the Lloyd’s market, as well as an in-depth knowledge of the workings of the London market especially with regard to TMK's core business classes. We are looking for a team player who can think analytically and demonstrate professionalism.
