Internal Audit Senior Consultant (Evergreen)
We are searching for an experienced Internal Audit Senior Consultant (Evergreen).
As a Senior Consultant within Internal Audit, you will be responsible for undertaking a range of complex and specialist audits at client’s sites, in accordance with our Internal Audit standards. You will work individually and lead a team to deliver high quality Internal Audits within required timescales and budgets.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Preparing draft internal audit reports and working paper files to high quality standards and within the SLA on allocated audits.
- Leading and supervising junior staff on individual assignments including staff motivation, discipline and technical audit guidance.
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across a wide variety of clients.
- Managing, performing and controlling internal audit assignments, embracing assignment planning programming, conduct and control of audit work and reporting findings.
- Assisting management in ensuring that assignments are completed to time and budget.

- Strong experience of working in internal audit with public sector clients.
- Ability to review and control technical content of work of others to ensure compliance with relevant UK regulation and Internal Audit Standards.
- Ability to form and foster positive working relationships with colleagues, management and clients to understand their needs and requirements.
