• 4‑day week with 1:2/3 Saturday mornings
• Shifts vary between 10:30am‑7pm, 9am‑4:30pm and one 9am‑7pm
• No out‑of‑hours work
• 15‑minute appointments
• Varied caseload with a balance of surgery and consults throughout the week
• Salary from £45k, increasing with experience (generous and negotiable)
• 5 weeks per annum plus bank holidays

An independent and well‑established 2‑site veterinary practice based in Surbiton is looking for a Vet Surgeon to join their experienced 4‑Vet team.

You will see a wide range of first‑opinion cases and have a great balance of surgery and consults throughout the week. The senior vets are always available for support or advice and can offer mentorship to a new member of the team.

The practice emphasises strong client relationships, providing a personalised approach to each client and pet and striving for clinical thoroughness with current, scientific‑based methods. The practice is well equipped with digital x‑ray, new ultrasound, full Idexx laboratory equipment, multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring and a newly installed oxygen generator.

Ideal candidate: a Veterinary Surgeon with at least 2 years’ experience in clinical practice, with experience in consultations and routine surgical procedures.
