JOB PURPOSE

The Fracture Clinic is looking for a Band 5 staff Nurse on a 12‑month temporary contract to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate would need to be flexible and able to work various days Monday–Friday, and to support the multi‑professional team in delivering optimum quality of care within the clinic.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess injuries, apply splints and boots, change dressings, and manage wound care.
• Educate patients and support the clinician in clinics.
• Work flexible days Monday‑Friday and 30 hours per week.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERENCES

• Band 5 staff nurse, registered with NHS.
• 12‑month temporary contract covering maternity leave.
• Experience within orthopaedics preferable but not essential.
