Position Overview

We are looking for an individual to expand their knowledge and skills within the Radiology department at Royal Hampshire County Hospital.

Experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Applicants are expected to maintain high standards of care for all patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain a high standard of care for patients undergoing interventional radiological procedures within Interventional Radiology, CT, and Ultrasound, such as angioplasty, embolisation, biopsies and drainage.
• Assist in pre‑assessment and day‑case facility management for patient recovery.
• Assist in patient assessment pre‑ and post‑procedure, intra‑ and post‑operative care and recovery, sedation and patient monitoring, and scrub nursing duties.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team including consultant radiologists, radiographers and radiographic assistants.

Working Hours and Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00–18:00. 4‑day week if full time. No nights, weekends or on‑call duties.
