Psychologist Practitioner (8a)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Psychologist Practitioner to join our CAMHS eating disorders outpatient service at Coventry and Warwickshire. This full-time, permanent role is part of an expanding service, with development opportunities at Band 7 and the potential to progress to Band 8a.

The successful candidate will deliver a highly specialist psychology service to children and young people and families with complex and severe eating disorders (ED). They will manage individual cases, conduct specialist assessments, produce complex formulations, deliver therapeutic work, provide specialist advice and consultation to multi‑agency professionals and carers, and use research skills for audit, policy and service development. The post‑holder will work autonomously within professional guidelines and team policies and procedures.

The role offers flexibility around working patterns, hours and location across Coventry and Warwickshire.

As part of a growing and thriving CAMHS eating disorders outpatient service, there are opportunities to contribute to service development across the whole eating disorder pathway, including intensive outreach and ARFID.

We are looking for motivated and committed psychologists for this band 8a post, or to apply for it as a band 7 development post with the opportunity to progress to a band 8a via a supported process of professional development.
