Lincolnshire Rural Support Network (LRSN) is a dedicated charity supporting people in farming and rural communities across Lincolnshire. We provide practical and emotional assistance to those facing hardship, whether due to illness, isolation, financial pressures, or the unique challenges of agricultural life. Our work includes confidential advice, mental health and business support, signposting, and advocacy, helping families and individuals navigate difficult times with dignity and resilience. At the hear to LRSN is a commitment to strengthening rural communities and ensuring that no one in the agricultural sector feels alone or unsupported.
About The Role:
Due to expansion of the charity’s work and increased demand for our services, we now require an experienced and skilled Marketing and Communications Manager to develop and deliver a marketing and communications strategy that raises awareness of LRSN’s work, increases engagement, and supports income generation and service delivery, across the activities of the charity.
This new role will oversee high standards of brand management, content, printed and promotional materials, events and campaigns across all channels, ensuring communication are audience led, data informed, and aligned to LRSN’s values and objectives. The role will also have strategic oversight of all marketing, communications and fundraising functions, both internally and externally and will line manage the Fundraising Manager.
About You:
We require an experienced Marketing & Communications professional who has strong creative and copywriting skills, excellent people skills and strong project management and organisational skills.
You will have a sharp eye for detail, huge levels of enthusiasm and a caring and supportive nature. It is vital that you have the ability to spot and develop opportunities, create high quality graphics, blogs, social media and campaigns as well as having a flair for story telling and crafting communications across all types of media.
You will be highly self motivated, reliable and a hard worker, with experience and a strong track record of working in a marketing and public relations role. Comfortable with flexible working hours to occasional weekend working and evenings with our event programme, this role is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to grow the awareness and success of LRSN, whilst caring for the agricultural and rural communities of Lincolnshire and supporting them long into the future.
