About you
- Degree, HND, or HNC in Engineering, Construction or related field
- At least 8 years of proven project management experience in industrial or Facilities Management environments, with a focus on Mechanical systems
- Strong technical knowledge across building, civil, electrical, and mechanical disciplines
- Excellent planning, organisation, and risk mitigation skills
- Skilled in MS Office, project management software (e.g., MS Project, Wrike, Asana), and AutoCAD
- Demonstrated experience managing multi‑contract projects in live, safety‑critical environments
- Knowledge of health & safety legislation, CDM regulations, and compliance standards
- Relevant project management certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or APM are desirable
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications are a plus
What you’ll do
- Lead and manage multiple projects from initial feasibility through design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring projects remain on track and within scope
- Oversee technical design reviews, ensuring engineering standards and industry regulations are met
- Manage on‑site teams, contractors, and external consultants, coordinating activities to minimise operational disruption
- Liaise with stakeholders, providing clear updates on project progress, costs, and risks
- Monitor project safety and compliance, enforcing safety standards and statutory regulationsIdentify and mitigate risks proactively, ensuring successful project delivery within safety and quality standards
- Prepare and present business cases for capital investments, supporting strategic decision‑making
