About the Role

Cura Terrae Water Limited is seeking a practical and motivated Installation Engineer to support the delivery of water and environmental monitoring projects.

This is a hands‑on, field‑based role focused on the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of monitoring systems and associated infrastructure across a range of UK client sites. You’ll play a key role in ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction while delivering reliable environmental monitoring solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, and maintain monitoring systems to project specifications
  • Conduct site surveys to assess requirements, constraints, and risks
  • Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and installation plans
  • Carry out fault finding, maintenance, and repairs on installed systems
  • Ensure all work complies with RAMS, health & safety, and environmental standards
  • Support installation planning and coordinate with internal teams
  • Liaise professionally with clients and stakeholders on‑site
  • Complete accurate installation records and documentation
  • Identify and report defects, risks, and opportunities for improvement

About You

  • Practical, hands‑on individual with strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Understanding of mechanical/electrical systems or installation environments
  • Confident working independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills with a professional approach on‑site
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Basic understanding of health & safety practices (RAMS, risk assessments)
  • Experience in light civils or construction environments

Desirable (training provided if needed)

  • Experience in light civils or construction environments
  • Confined Space certification
  • CSCS card or equivalent
