Your Role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will be a key technical expert bridging the gap between technical and business teams. Your expertise in electrical design systems, specifically Siemens Capital, will enable you to deliver valuable insights and solutions that enhance our clients' product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the implementation and integration of Siemens Capital with NX and Teamcenter as part of a blended team of CAD/PLM/Electrical experts, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability between systems.
- Developing and implementing best practices for electrical design processes, leveraging Capital, NX, and Teamcenter functionalities.
- Conducting training sessions and creating comprehensive training materials to upskill end-users on Siemens software packages.
- Providing subject matter expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to electrical design processes and system integrations.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize electrical design workflows and improve efficiency across client projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience with Siemens Capital for electrical design and engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical design processes, industry standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively train and mentor others.
- Experience in pre‑testing software releases and creating supporting documentation.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve engineering issues.
- Sole UK national.
- SC cleared or clearable.

- Role requires sole UK nationality to obtain required clearance.
- Location: Anywhere in the UK, but must be able to spend 2‑3 days per fortnight in Barrow if required (hybrid role involving travel).
