About the Role
As a Field Support Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing, coordinating, and supporting the installation and maintenance of gymnastics equipment at customer sites and competition venues. This is a hands‑on, field‑based position with significant travel, where you ensure projects are completed safely, on‑time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
- Plan and support gymnastics equipment installations from start to finish.
- Conduct site visits before, during, and after installation projects.
- Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
Technical Support
- Provide on‑site troubleshooting and repair support.
- Ensure all installations meet safety requirements and manufacturer guidelines.
Team Leadership
- Supervise field technicians and subcontractors.
- Deliver training on installation best practices and safety procedures.
Quality & Compliance
- Inspect installations for quality and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all work completed.
Customer Service
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients during installation phases.
- Address customer concerns professionally and in a timely manner.
Skills & Qualifications
Essential
- Proven experience in field operations, ideally within sports or gymnastics equipment installation.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate field teams.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
Desirable
- Knowledge of BS EN safety standards for sports equipment.
- Experience with CAD drawings or site planning.
- First Aid and Health & Safety certifications.
- Technical understanding of gymnastics apparatus.
