Forward Deployed Engineer (AI) | Up to £145k + Bonus | London (Hybrid, 2–3 days onsite)

Their focus is on deploying AI into live environments across FinTech, HealthTech, and Energy. That means dealing with real constraints, messy data, legacy systems, and high expectations from stakeholders.

Role
Work directly with client engineering teams to design and ship production AI systems. You’ll sit at the intersection of engineering, product, and real‑world constraints.
Responsibilities
- Embed with client teams to design and deliver AI‑driven systems
- Build and deploy production‑grade applications using Python, TypeScript, and Java
- Translate business problems into working technical solutions
- Work across the full lifecycle from architecture through to deployment and optimisation
- Operate in fast‑moving environments with real ownership and accountability
Requirements
- 5+ years building and shipping production systems
- Experience in client‑facing roles such as FDE, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Consultant
- Strong coding ability in Python, Java, and/or TypeScript
- Solid experience across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with direct stakeholder exposure
Python, TypeScript, Java, modern cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP), AI/ML tooling where relevant
Requirements / Constraints
- UK‑based
- Able to be in Central London office 2–3 days per week
