Electrical Project Manager (Permanent – Automotive Sector)
Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Hinckley (with site travel as required)

Fusion People are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing electrical contractor delivering high-quality projects across the automotive, industrial, and commercial sectors. Due to continued expansion, our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong background in automotive environments to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who understands the fast-paced, high-spec nature of automotive projects and is confident managing installations within live manufacturing or production settings.

The Role

• Manage electrical projects within automotive facilities from concept through to completion
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and specialist suppliers
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to strict client specifications
• Work closely with clients, production teams, and stakeholders in live environments
• Ensure minimal disruption to ongoing operations during installation works
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and compliance
• Oversee procurement, planning, and resource allocation
• Produce regular progress reports and attend project meetings

About You

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the automotive sector
• Strong understanding of working in live manufacturing/production environments
• Excellent knowledge of electrical installations and industrial systems
• Ability to manage complex, fast-paced projects with tight deadlines
• Strong leadership, organisational, and problem‑solving skills
• Confident communicator with client-facing experience
• Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ, HNC/HND, or equivalent)
• SMSTS/SSSTS preferred
