Mechanical Design Engineer – Aberdeen

The Mechanical Design Engineer will develop and optimise electro‑mechanical systems. The role involves close collaboration with electrical, manufacturing, and testing teams to take concepts through to validated, production‑ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead assigned design packages and oversee drafting support.

• Produce and check drawings, calculations, specifications, and procedures.

• Resolve manufacturing and testing issues.

• Create 3D models, engineering drawings, and supporting documentation.

• Apply engineering analysis to verify performance and integrity.

• Support prototype builds and testing activities.

• Improve designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.

• Maintain quality standards and contribute to design reviews.

• Provide clear documentation and progress updates.
